Seismic Stan is here, he has bought with him "a random and eclectic selection of Noise Suppressors" which range from a "meta0-fitted Tormentor" through to cruisers...
The last fight was nice and easy. Hopefully he wont bring out anything too taxing for me as trying to keep this dual armour rep Rifter with a microwarpdrive going will be very problematic for cap management. It's a bad fit but here is the best place to experiment with it!
So, do you think a nice easy ship to fight lands? No! He's gone and fit a Kestrel. A ship that the Rifter tends to have a hard time against!
I need to get in close and the microwarpdrive will help with that but I cannot use it whilst repairing my armour. I pulse it once to get in and set my orbit to 500m, I manage to get in quite close which is the win button for me but I don't have any propulsion mods activated so he easily gains distance on me. If I turn on my microwarpdrive it will deplete my capacitor and I wont be able to repair my armour. I'm barely taking chunks out of his shields, it's nowhere near quick enough. Each of his shots are tearing my armour apart and my reppers are struggling to keep up. I have no choice, I'm going to die anyway. I activate my microwarpdrive.
I get in closer but with my capacitor gone my armour cannot repair and the slither that is left disappears in less than a second. I expectedly explode.
The fight is over so quickly I hardly had any time to think! Time for a new ship.
